Rio Grande City EDC board members and city officials attended the Rio Grande Valley Partnership’s State of the Region Luncheon on Dec. 10 at the Mission Events Center. The event brought together representatives from across the Valley’s four counties and included an awards ceremony recognizing achievements in economic development, healthcare, education, transportation, international trade and regional leadership. Local officials in attendance included Mayor Gilberto Falcon, Mayor Pro Tem Ediel Barrera, City Manager Gilberto Millan and other city and EDC leaders.
