Gov. Greg Abbott has reappointed Robert L. Lozano as presiding officer of the Hidalgo County Regional Mobility Authority, with a term set to expire Feb. 1, 2028. The authority is responsible for financing, developing and managing transportation projects across the region. Lozano, an Edinburg business leader, serves as owner and chairman of F&P Brands and chairman of Greater State Bank. His background includes leadership roles with multiple financial institutions, economic development organizations and chambers of commerce.
