Posted

YouthBuild Brownsville will transition into an independent trades magnet high school in August 2026, allowing students to earn a diploma while receiving hands-on career training and industry-recognized certifications. The apprenticeship-based model will blend academic instruction with workforce preparation, including credentials in construction, welding, machining, safety and office technology. Enrollment is now open for students in grades 9-12, including youth up to age 20, with limited seats available. Applications are due by March 6.
