The McAllen Chamber of Commerce and the McAllen Economic Development Corporation joined Valley Initiative for Development and Advancement (VIDA) on Thursday to celebrate the organization’s 30th anniversary. VIDA has provided education, training, and support to help Rio Grande Valley residents enter high-demand, high-wage careers. The event recognized VIDA’s continued role in strengthening the regional workforce and supporting economic growth across McAllen and the Valley.
