The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials has named TxDOT’s Caroline Mays as one of its Faces of Freight. AASHTO gives its Faces of Freight awards to officials “whose dedication and expertise keep America’s supply chains moving.” Mays is director of planning and modal programs for TxDOT. “While at TxDOT, she helped establish the agency’s first multimodal Freight Mobility Plan as well as its Transportation Master Plan.”
