Cameron County and Cameron County RMA say the following projects were included in TxDOT’s 2026 Unified Transportation Program’s 10-year funding plan for the county:
• U.S. 77 Projects: $1.3 Billion - includes Projects in Cameron County, Kennedy County, and Corpus Christi District
• East Loop Project: $176.5 Million
• SH 4 to Boca Chica Beach - 4 Lane Expansion Project: $192 Million
• FM 509 Extension – Harlingen Area $37.4 Million
• FM 1847 San Benito $7 Million
• SH 107 Santa Rosa - $15 Million
• U.S. 281/Military Highway Expansion $50.8 Million
• FM 3248 Brownsville $38 Million
