The Texas Oil and Gas Association hosted the 2025 Valley Energy Summit in partnership with the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) on Sept. 23. It brought regional leaders together to discuss energy and economic growth in the Rio Grande Valley. The event featured discussions on energy, legislation and economic opportunities, with speakers including Port of Brownsville Director, Bill Dietrich, Sen. Adam Hinojosa, Rep. Janie Lopez and UTRGV’s Associate Vice President for Workforce and Economic Development, Ron Garza.
