South Texas College is partnering with the Texas Workforce Commission to offer free training for small businesses through the state’s Small Business Grant program. The program provides up to $2,000 in training funds per employee for companies with fewer than 100 workers. Eligible businesses can access courses in areas such as leadership, customer service, and technical skills, with training available on-site or at STC campuses. The program aims to help small employers upskill their workforce while meeting TWC wage and tax requirements.
