South Texas College’s Technology Campus, in partnership with the Center for Advanced Training and Apprenticeships and STC’s Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration program, hosted Johnstone Supply for an Environmental Protection Agency A2L refrigerant safety training. The session provided instruction to both students and industry professionals on the next generation of refrigerants introduced by the EPA in 2025. The A2L refrigerants are non-toxic and designed to reduce global warming potential, reflecting STC’s commitment to keeping the regional workforce informed on current industry standards.
