South Texas College (STC) will host its “You Matter” mental health workshop for student veterans, staff and faculty this week at the Pecan, Mid-Valley and Starr County campuses. The event is presented by the Counseling and Student Accessibility Services Department in partnership with Veterans Affairs and community allies. Workshops are scheduled for Sept. 9 at Pecan and Sept. 11 at Mid-Valley and Starr, focusing on early warning signs of mental health issues, contributing factors and available resources.
