The Starr County Industrial Foundation celebrated its Board of Directors today and announced the addition of two new members: Precinct 3 Commissioner Eleazar Velasquez and Bill Webber, managing director of 4W Legacy Development and a renewable energy expert. The foundation said their involvement will support SCIF’s efforts to guide sound, controlled and sustainable growth in Starr County. SCIF added that including community stakeholders and industry specialists strengthens its planning for future infrastructure and economic opportunities.
