South Texas College will hold its annual Workforce Summit on Friday, highlighting the impact of artificial intelligence on workforce education and economic development as part of National Apprenticeship Month. The event will feature discussions on AI-integrated workforce programs, a robotics showcase and a donation from D. Wilson Construction Company to support scholarships through the college’s Center for Advanced Training and Apprenticeships. STC officials will be joined by regional and state leaders, including Texas Economic Development Corporation CEO Aaron Demerson and other industry representatives.
