The U.S. Small Business Administration Lower Rio Grande Valley District Office will host Session 5 of its “Let’s Talk Business Series” on March 13, from 9 to 11 a.m. The session, titled “The Employer Policy Handbook & Skills for Success,” is part of a 12-part program connecting small businesses with federal, state and local resources. Representatives from Texas Workforce Solutions–Cameron will present information on employee handbooks, hiring policies and common human resources challenges. Texas State Technical College will also discuss the Skills for Success Grant, which helps employers fund workplace training.
