The RGV Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will host a free workshop on Dec. 10 to help small businesses learn the basics of entering government markets and preparing for federal contracting opportunities. The session, scheduled from 9 to 11 a.m. at the chamber’s McAllen office, will cover industry classification and how to identify federal, state and local contract openings. Attendees will also receive guidance on certification programs and procurement readiness, with representatives from the U.S. Small Business Administration and UTRGV’s APEX Accelerator participating.
