The Rio Grande Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will host its first LGBTQ+ and Allies Luncheon and Keynote on Oct. 4. It is themed “Building a Thriving Village – Supporting a Healthy and Engaged Community,” and the event will feature Houston District H Council Member Mario Castillo as its keynote speaker. The luncheon aims to highlight LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs and business leaders while fostering dialogue on economic growth, diversity and community engagement.
