The City of Pharr has declared October as Manufacturing Month, highlighting the industry’s contribution to the local economy and workforce development. During this week’s City Commission meeting, the proclamation was presented to the Pharr Economic Development Corporation, with representatives from PSJA ISD and the South Texas Manufacturers Association joining in support. The initiative reflects the city’s ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships that expand manufacturing and create new career pathways in the Rio Grande Valley.
