Mission EDC and the City of Mission announced a $50 million investment by Grupo Century Recycling to construct a 98,000-square-foot metal recycling and materials recovery facility in South Mission. The project is expected to create 70 full-time positions and more than 240 permanent and temporary jobs, generating new payroll and tax revenue for the area. Century plans to break ground in January and aims to open by the end of next year.
