The Mercado District in McAllen will host its first FoodieFest on Oct. 16, featuring tastings from local restaurants, live music on two stages and a selection of wine, beer and spirits.The event will also debut Taste Boulevard, an activation offering more than 80 labels of drinks. Chef William Vieza will be in attendance for a VIP feature of the event.
