Local and state leaders gathered Thursday for the McAllen Legislative Wrap-Up Luncheon, where lawmakers discussed outcomes from the 89th Texas Legislature and their impact on the Rio Grande Valley. Panelists included Sen. Juan “Chuy” Hinojosa, Sen. Adam Hinojosa, Rep. Ryan Guillen, Rep. Sergio Muñoz Jr., and Rep. Terry Canales. McAllen City Manager Isaac Tawil delivered opening remarks, with city officials and community partners also in attendance.
