The McAllen Economic Development Corporation attended the Index Reynosa Monthly General Managers Meeting held in McAllen, where industry leaders discussed issues affecting maquiladora operations in Mexico. Topics included labor reform and compliance, along with import and export requirements, trade regulations and document management tied to cross-border manufacturing. A representative from Index México also provided insight into services the organization offers to companies, including assistance with incorporation, permitting and regulatory compliance.
