Local officials met on Oct. 20, with Matthew Hughes, CEO of the World Affairs Councils of America, to discuss collaboration opportunities. The meeting was held in partnership with the Laredo Economic Development Corporation and Texas A&M International University. Discussions centered on strengthening global engagement and regional economic development.
