The fourth cohort of Harlingen CISD students has joined the Creating Entrepreneurship Opportunities Program, a partnership between the district’s Academies Department and local business mentors. Over the next five months, students will develop business plans and receive hands-on training from Harlingen entrepreneurs before presenting their projects in a public Shark Tank-style competition in May 2026. The program aims to equip students with the skills to launch their own businesses and foster entrepreneurial growth within the community.
