The Harlingen Economic Development Corporation announced the addition of William M. Brown as its new economic development coordinator. Brown has lived in the Rio Grande Valley since early childhood and holds degrees in mechanical engineering and business administration. He previously worked as a project systems coordinator at a digital marketing agency, along with operating his own startup. In his new role, Brown will assist with research and data collection, responses to state leads, and project tracking and compliance, according to the EDC.
