The Harlingen Economic Development Corporation helped connect Region One Education Service Center with Lone Star National Bank this week to launch a teacher externship program in Harlingen. Through the initiative, a Rio Grande Valley educator will gain firsthand experience at the bank to better understand industry opportunities and strengthen classroom instruction. The program aims to enhance local career and technical education by linking educators with real-world workforce insights.
