Harlingen Economic Development Corporation (EDC) held an event last week for business owners and industry leaders to learn about Texas State Technical College and the Texas Workforce Commission’s new pilot program, Skills for Success. The initiative covers the cost of short-term TSTC training courses for eligible employers, focusing on workplace skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. The meeting aimed to connect employers with resources to strengthen their workforce.
