Salvador Villalpando, director of budget and investments for the Greater Brownsville Incentives Corporation, spoke at the Train the Trainer event hosted by the Building Financial Capacity Coalition. Villalpando discussed the financial operations of an economic development corporation. The event gathered 50 high school students from Brownsville and Harlingen, aiming to apply their new knowledge to develop presentations for the upcoming Financial Literacy Summit.
