Edinburg Mayor Omar Ochoa, City Council members and city staff traveled to Washington, D.C., to participate in STX Days, an event that convenes South Texas leaders for policy discussions and meetings with federal officials. The delegation focused on representing Edinburg’s interests in national conversations, including infrastructure, drainage and public safety needs. Executive Director Raudel Garza joined city leadership in the nation’s capital as part of the effort.
