The Edinburg Economic Development Corporation announced a partnership with the Rio Grande Valley Chapter Associated General Contractors to support a Heavy Equipment Operator Training Program. The initiative will prepare students from across the region for construction careers through classroom instruction, simulators and hands-on equipment training. Participants will have the opportunity to earn nationally recognized NCCER credentials through the program. As part of the partnership, Edinburg EDC is sponsoring three Edinburg residents to take part in the training.
