The Council for South Texas Economic Progress took economic development leaders from McAllen, Brownsville, Harlingen, Roma, and Laredo to Let’s Do Business in Texas conferences in Nuevo León and Querétaro. The Nuevo León event was held at the Hotel Grande Fiesta Americana in Monterrey, Nuevo León. The Querétaro conference was held at the Club de Industriales de Querétaro. The events attracted businesses of all sizes. The common denominator: they want to do business in Texas. COSTEP says its aim is to promote the Río South Texas region on the global stage as a premier destination for innovation, trade, and investment.
