The Brownsville Chamber of Commerce will host its next “Friday with the City” event on Friday, Jan. 16, 2026, at 8 a.m. in downtown Brownsville. The session will take place at the City of Brownsville Communications and Marketing Department and Convention and Visitors Bureau Complex at 1312 E. Adams St. The program will feature a presentation and discussion on the city’s fiscal year 2026 budget and capital improvement plan, outlining priorities, planned investments and upcoming projects.
