Cori Peña, president and CEO of Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation, has been elected to a three-year term on the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors. Peña said the new role means BCIC will have stronger connections with chamber members, while for Brownsville residents it means closer collaboration on revitalization efforts. “The Chamber plays a vital role in amplifying the voices of our small businesses,” Peña said. “I look forward to working together to build new opportunities for growth and innovation in Brownsville.”
