Godinez, Darling, preview I-LinCP's upcoming discussion on infrastructure

MCALLEN, Texas - Later this month, the Institute for Leadership in Capital Projects (I-LinCP) RGV Chapter hosts its third big event of the year.

The first focused on economic development. The second focused on education. The third will center on infrastructure. 

It is titled: “Foundations for Tomorrow: Infrastructure Demand for the Rio Grande Valley.” The event takes place at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in McAllen on Nov. 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The keynote speaker will be Valerie Segovia, vice president for investor relations at the Texas Economic Development Corporation. 

The infrastructure panel will be moderated by Sergio Sanchez, program director of 710 KURV-AM. Joining him as panelists will be Mark Dombroski, COO of Brownsville Public Utilities Board, Pete Alvarez, TxDOT’s Pharr District Engineer, Raul Sesin, general manager of Hidalgo County Drainage District No. 1, and former McAllen Mayor Jim Darling, chairman of Region M Water Planning Group.

“This will be a great opportunity for networking, discussion, and insights about our RGV region’s infrastructure expansion,” said I-LinCP RGV Chapter President Brian Godinez.
