HARLINGEN, Texas - Longtime Cameron County Commissioner David Garza is a noted specialist on transportation issues in South Texas.
He is a longtime member of the Alliance for I-69 Texas and a regular attendee of Texas Transportation Commission meetings in Austin.
In a wide-ranging interview about transportation projects with Ron Whitlock Reports, Garza discussed TxDOT's plans to build a 2nd Causeway to South Padre Island, and the final push to get I-69 East and I-69 Central up to interstate standards from the Rio Grande Valley all the way north to I-37.
