MCALLEN, Texas - Castle Hospitality, led by Michael Fallek, will next month hold a groundbreaking ceremony for their eagerly-anticipated 13.66-acre mixed-use McAllen City Center development.

This property, on the northwest corner of I-2 and 10th Street in McAllen, has sat idle for the past several years. It used to house the McAllen Civic Center.

“It will be a wonderful mixed use development. It's 13.66 acres of prime location right along the expressway, right across from La Plaza Mall, close to downtown, close to the McAllen airport, and really super accessible,” Fallek told the RGG Business Journal.

With Castle Hospitality based in McAllen, Fallek says McAllen City Center will likely be the company’s “legacy project.”
