To our Board of Directors, City leadership, partners, and community :

The reporting period from October 1 , 2024 to September 30, 2025 has been a year of powerful momentum for the Greater Brownsville EDC and for our city.

Brownsville is no longer just competing, it’s winning.

With transformational announcements, new facilities under construction, and expanding opportunities for our workforce, our community is solidifying its position as one of the most dynamic economic growth stories in Texas .

This year, we proudly welcomed to Brownsville three industry leaders that will not only bring capital investment and quality jobs, but also strengthen the foundation of our industrial ecosystem.

Beyond recruitment, we continued our commitment to business retention and expansion, ensuring that the companies who choose Brownsville can thrive here long-term. We engaged directly with employers, strengthened talent pipelines and expanded community outreach to inspire the next generation of our workforce.

None of this would be possible without the collaboration of the City of Brownsville, the Port of Brownsville, our higher education and workforce partners, and the private sector. Together, we are aligning infrastructure, training, and incentives to ensure that Brownsville doesn’t just attract growth but sustains it.

Thank you to our Board, the City Commission, and our partners for your leadership and commitment. The results of this year speak for themselves and the opportunities ahead are even greater.
