MCALLEN, Texas - Rose Benavidez, president of Starr County Industrial Foundation, has given an update on the big economic development projects her group is working on.
Benavidez was a panelist at an event hosted by Institute for Leadership in Capital Projects (I-LinCP). It was called the "Building the Valley – Uniting for RGV Regional Growth" and it was held at the Embassy Suites in McAllen.
The other panelists were Victor Perez, president of Pharr Economic Development Corporation, and Gilberto Salinas, CEO of the Greater Brownsville Incentives Corporation.
The moderator was Josue Reyes, president and CEO of D. Wilson Construction.
