EDINBURG, Texas - The community and business leaders that attended the economic summit hosted by the Rio Grande Valley Partnership and held at the Bert Ogden Arena on Thursday are united in their praise.
They say the event, which included a keynote speech by Gov. Greg Abbott , was amazing, monumental, and historic.
More than two dozen mayors from across the Valley were present to sign a Memorandum of Understanding. They also agreed to let the RGVP handle the region's marketing. The theme of the event was, One Region, One Voice.

"The arena was buzzing with familiar faces—colleagues who have, over time, transformed into dear friends.
