WESLACO, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Partnership is looking for sponsors for the reception it is hosting at the big ICSC@Red River conference being held in Dallas on Jan. 31 thru February 2.
ICSC stands for International Council of Shopping Centers. According to its website, ICSC “promotes and elevates the marketplaces and spaces where people shop, dine, work, play, and gather as foundational and vital ingredients of communities and economies.”
The conference is being held at the Kay Bailey Convention Center in Dallas. The RGV Partnership’s reception takes place on Feb. 1 at the Arts District Mansion. Sponsorship of the reception varies between $500 and $5,000. Those interested in sponsoring the reception should contact RGVP’s director of marketing and events, Fernanda Sanchez at: fernanda@rgvpartnership.com.
RGVP is is also offering sponsorship opportunities as part of its “investor engagement and brand visibility package.” This sponsorship would cost $1,300. Those interested should also contact RGVP’s Sanchez.
RGVP is expected to promote the Valley through the new motto it has adopted: One Region, Once Voice. RGVP is the Valley's regional chamber of commerce.
According to the RGV Partnership's website, the group is "a business-friendly nonprofit organization that encourages collaboration among the four counties of our region – Starr County, Hidalgo County, Willacy County, and Cameron County." The website says the organization "drives for the enhancement of our members to improve their return on investment and improve their quality of life in our region."
The New Year is getting off to a flying start for the Partnership. On Jan. 17 it is hosting its “Rio Grande Valley Legislators Appreciation Reception at the Radission Hotel in McAllen. The event starts at 5:30 p.m.
And on Jan. 23, the RGVP is hosting the latest in its Commercial & Investment Tour. The event focuses on the work of Elsa Economic Development Corporation.
