PALMVIEW, Texas - Rina Castillo is community and economic development agent for Prairie View A&M Extension in Hidalgo and Starr counties.
In an exclusive video interview with the Rio Grande Guardian, Castillo discusses an upcoming BID (Business In Development) Academy she will be hosting in Palmview.
“The BID Academy is designed to help companies get HUD certified,” Castillo explained. HUD stands for Historically Underutilized Business.
Castillo said the event takes place Jan. 28 in partnership with Palmview Chamber of Commerce.
