Posted

MCALLEN, Texas - Open EB5 is to hold a grand opening for its Rio Grande Valley headquarters on September 10.

The address of the HQ is: 3900 N. 10th Street, Suite 1080, McAllen.

The EB-5 Program is a U.S. Immigrant Investor Program that provides a path to a green card (lawful permanent resident status) for foreign nationals who invest a required amount of capital into a new U.S. commercial enterprise and create or preserve at least 10 full-time U.S. jobs.

Established by Congress in 1990, the program aims to stimulate the U.S. economy by attracting foreign capital and creating jobs, particularly in targeted employment areas where the minimum investment amount is lower.

Founder and CEO Emilio Guzmán penned a guest column about the EB 5 program earlier this summer.

We republish it here:

Guzmán: EB-5 can transform an entire family’s future

The impact of a Green Card goes far beyond the document itself. It can change the future of an entire family.

For over 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of guiding people from all over the world who are looking to legally establish themselves in the United States.

Along the way, I’ve witnessed firsthand how a single decision—choosing a structured immigration path like the EB-5—can transform not just an individual’s life, but their entire family’s future.

During this time, I’ve been involved in more than one thousand successful permanent residency processes through the EB-5 program. And while numbers matter, what truly drives me are the stories behind them: mothers seeking stability for their children, fathers aiming for professional freedom, young people dreaming of studying without limits.

EB-5 is not a magic solution. It requires planning, documentation, and a qualified economic participation in job-creating projects. But what makes it powerful is its structure: a legal, direct path that doesn’t rely on employment sponsors or family ties.

I’ve seen families arrive with fear and now live in peace. Those who once asked, “What if it doesn’t work?” now celebrate every small victory in a new land. They moved from uncertainty to owning a home, enrolling their children in U.S. schools, and building a future they once thought impossible.

When people ask if I would choose this career again, my answer is always yes. Because I don’t sell papers. What we offer at Open EB-5 are real plans, rigorous processes, and above all, human guidance.

Today, more than ever, I believe this program is not just a legal mechanism. It’s an open door! And being part of that journey for hundreds of families remains one of the greatest privileges of my life.

If you’re considering a real, structured change with long-term vision, EB-5 could be your first step.

I’m here to explain it with clarity—no empty promises. Just facts, strategy, and commitment.
