BROWNSVILLE, Texas - International trade expert Steve Perez moderated a panel discussion on artificial intelligence at RGV StartUp Week.
But, as an unofficial ambassador for the eBridge Center for Business & Commercialization, he also brought new international businesses to the event, to help them build connections in Brownsville.
They included Katia Orozco of Pozole and Jet Lei of America Ship.
RGV StartUp Week was designed to promote and cultivate entrepreneurship in the Rio Grande Valley. Co-hosted by Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation and UTRGV Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Center, the event included 126 speakers, 78 sessions and panels, and 154 hours of activities. It attracted 802 attendees, with the organizers streaming 13,500 minutes of video.
During the event, the Rio Grande Guardian International News Service secured exclusive video interviews with Perez, president of Velox Global Solutions, along with Pozole’s Orozco, and America Ship’s Lei.
