PHARR, Texas - RioPlex is set to host a groundbreaking for La Bonanza Avocados, a family-owned avocado company from Uruapan, Michoacán. on Nov. 14.
Guests at the ceremony will include more than 20 business leaders from Michoacán, who will be on a three-day trade mission. The groundbreaking will be held on the corner of Las Milpas and Veterans Road in Pharr.
The ceremony will begin with a welcome from the ‘master of ceremonies’ at 4:30 p.m. accompanied by a message from the Mayor of Pharr, Dr. Ambrosio Hernandez. Chairman of Rioplex, Joaquin Spamer, is then set to speak, with a presentation from Luis Bazan, Pharr International Bridge director, following. Lastly, President of La Bonanza, Gabriel Villaseñor will give a few words.
The groundbreaking ceremony will end with its official photo, a blessing on the project and time allotted for networking at 5:40pm.
