MCALLEN, Texas - Walker Smith, port director of the Port of Harlingen, gave brief remarks at a South Texas Manufacturers Association luncheon held at the Double Tree by Hilton in McAllen on Aug. 21.
The port is a member of the association.
The Port of Harlingen is in the process of developing a 600-acre rail site, Smith announced.
