MCALLEN, Texas - Two COSTEP leaders - CEO Adam Gonzalez and Economic Development Director Rick Carrera - recently spoke about the group’s work at an MOU event.
COSTEP stands for the Council for South Texas Economic Progress.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by COSTEP and the Tamaulipas Electrical-Electronics Cluster.
The aim of the MOU is to strengthen economic, industrial, and technological collaboration between South Texas and northern Tamaulipas.
The MOU was signed by Gonzalez, on behalf of COSTEP, and Sergio Treviño, president of the Tamaulipas Electrical-Electronics Cluster. The event took place at the International Museum of Art & Science (IMAS) in McAllen.
Gonzalez said: “This marks a significant milestone in strengthening industrial collaboration and binational competitiveness across the region.”
