Canon: My decision to leave RGVMPO was not made lightly

Posted

It is with mixed emotions that I write to inform you that after nearly 20 years of dedicated service, I have decided to resign from my position at the Rio Grande Valley MPO (RGVMPO).

This decision was not made lightly, but after careful consideration and with a sense of excitement for the new chapter that awaits.

During my time at RGVMPO, I have had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented and dedicated individuals in the industry. Together, we have achieved numerous achievements and milestones, and I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished as a team.

I am grateful for the support and camaraderie that I have received from each one of you. The memories and experiences we've shared are ones that I will cherish forever. As I step into this new phase of my life, I look forward to pursuing personal interests, spending quality time with loved ones, and embracing new challenges and opportunities that come my way.

I have full confidence in the capable hands that will continue to drive the RGVMPO forward. The team here is exceptionally talented, and I have no doubt that the future holds even greater success and achievements. I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for the support, mentorship, and camaraderie that you have extended to me throughout my tenure. I leave with a heart full of fond memories and a sense of pride in being a part of this remarkable organization. My last day at the RGVMPO will be on Friday, October 27, 2023, and I am committed to ensuring a smooth transition of my responsibilities to whomever the Board selects.

I look forward to staying in touch and witnessing the continued success of the RGVMPO.
