ROMA, Texas - Roma City Manager Alejandro Barrera met up recently with U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar to go over the improvements happening at Las Americas Logistics & Industrial Park.
Barrera said funding secured by Cuellar in Congress is helping to take the industrial park to the next level.
Barrera believes uncertainty over U.S. tariff policy might have contributed to the sluggish take up of lots by prospective tenants.
However, as that uncertainty lessens, he and the city administration in Roma are confident of the industrial park's long-term success.
