BROWNSVILLE, Texas - Mexico’s Consul General in Brownsville, Judith Arrieta Mungia, reports that the current United States-Mexico-Canada (USMCA) review is underway and on schedule.
In an interview with the RGG Business Journal, Arrieta said trust is growing and the process is moving in the right direction. Current discussions focus on regional production, manufacturing employment, rules of origin, and supply chain resilience in key sectors such as automotive, steel and aluminum, pharmaceuticals, electronics, and medical devices.
Arrieta said key areas of cooperation include economic security coordination and aligned industrial policy actions.
