PHARR, Texas - The 2nd Annual Pharr International Bridge Truck Expo takes place Sept. 19 at the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg.
Hosted by the Pharr Bridge Board, the event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
“The Truck Expo aims to bring together key stakeholders in the industry, offering a unique platform for networking, showcasing cutting-edge technologies, and exploring opportunities for growth and collaboration,” the Pharr Bridge Board stated.
Among the features are a truck showcase: truck parts and accessories: wheels and tires: maintenance services: CDL school enrollment: insurance, financial and medical services: transportation, brokerage and logistics services; BridgeConnect Trade Sessions; a DOT workshop; Jobs Fair; live music; and raffles.
“The trucking industry plays a vital role in our economy through the delivery of goods and services from the distributor, through the supply chain, and on to the final destination,” said Pharr Mayor Ambrosio Hernandez. “The City of Pharr recognizes the importance that the trucking industry has, not only on a national scope, but as a direct impact on our local and regional economy.
“In Pharr, we believe that when it comes to keeping our economy functioning, transportation is key, and we welcome all trucking industry leaders and representatives to attend this event.”

Meanwhile, the Pharr Bridge Board has announced a new series titled Truckin Thursday.
“We're excited to introduce our new signature monthly event, designed exclusively for the transportation community. Each month, we’ll bring together industry professionals, thought leaders, and peers for a unique opportunity to connect, share insights, and explore the future of transportation. Join us as we launch this exciting series and be part of a community that’s driving the industry forward,” the Bridge Board stated.
